We grind every square inch of your floor before applying epoxy to create a clean, roughened surface that the coating can mechanically bond to — not just sit on top of. Grinding removes old coatings, dirt, oils, laitance, and weak or flaky concrete, exposing sound substrate and opening tiny pores and micro-anchors. That improved profile ensures the epoxy penetrates and locks in, reducing the chance of peeling, blistering, or premature failure and giving you a durable, long-lasting finish that stands up to traffic, chemicals, and time.

Once the base coat is rolled out, we sprinkle a generous layer of high-quality flakes over it while the surface is still wet. The wet base coat acts like glue, allowing the flakes to adhere evenly and settle into the finish.
